How do I register a pre-registered product?

After registering the product in the [Apps > Applications] menu and you can manage it in the [Pre-registration] menu.

Is binary registration mandatory for pre-registration?

Binary registration is not required at the stage of pre-registration registration and application.

However, as pre-registration can be conducted for up to 180 days, it is advisable to apply when the features are all set to deliver accurate information to the users.

Can pre-registration be conducted on different schedules for each countries/regions?

When registering pre-registration information, you can set schedules for each countries/regions in the [Countries/Regions Settings] tab.

However, once an official product is released in a countries/regions, the ‘Set Up Release Notification’ function is only active for 48 hours, so it is recommended to release the official product simultaneously.

The planned release date of the official product is different for each countries/regions. Are there any considerations?

Once an official product is released in a countries/regions, the ‘Set Up Release Notification’ function is activated for 48 hours, and you can only set a notification within a maximum of 3 days.

If the release schedule for each countries/regions exceeds the time frame for setting release notifications, users in certain countries/regions may not receive 'release notification, auto-install, Pre-registration PLUS rewards (if selected by the operator)'.

In such cases, it may be difficult to expect early success from pre-registration, and users may lose the opportunity to use the product from the release date.

The age rating of the product to be released is not confirmed. Can I proceed with pre-registration?

You can proceed with pre-registration as 'Rating Undefined', even if the age rating is not confirmed.

However, users who are not eligible for the product based on the age rating set for the official product may not receive 'release notification, auto-install, Pre-registration PLUS benefits (if selected by the operator)'.

Please note that the above situation may occur if the age rating set for pre-registration differs from that of the official product.

Can I suspend a pre-registration?

Yes, you can 'suspend or cancel' pre-registration for each countries/regions. For more detailed explanations, please refer to 'Here'.

When is the release notification sent to users who have applied for pre-registration?

You can set the timing of the release notification yourself.

The 'Set Up Release Notification' function is activated after the official product release. For more detailed explanation, please refer to 'Here'.

Does pre-registration support auto-install upon the official product release?

Auto-install is supported under the following conditions, and in some unsupported devices it may be replaced with a push message:

  • You must set the 'Auto-install After Release' option to 'Provided' in the pre-registration's [Countries/Regions Settings] menu.

  • Users must agree to 'Auto-install' when applying for pre-registration.

  • You must set the time to send release notifications through the [Set Up Release Notification] menu after the official product release.

  • Users must meet the criteria of 'countries/regions, age rating, supported devices' of the released official product.
